- This colour is by far my favourite lipstick, I wear it the most out of all my lipsticks. Its a pinky red colour and its perfect for my skin colour (nc40), the reason I got this was because I had run out of Stila's lipstick in wendy and I can't find that anywhere here in Oz so this is a pretty good dupe for it.

MAC lipsticks were at their height in popularity almost a decade ago (remember those ‘My Mac Lipstick Collection' videos on YouTube?) and although they're not as popular as they used to be, they've still maintained a cult following.
I personally think that MAC lipstick are so popular because they offer so many shades! And not only that, the makeup artists who work at MAC make it extra easy for you to find the perfect shade to suit your complexion.
With that being said, $20 is still quite a lot to spend on a lipstick, especially if you can get the same performance and color from a drugstore alternative.
